The Foodies crew decided to get filthy and visited Filthy Fizz in Martinsburg, a new dirty soda shop serving up more than just carbonated concoctions. We got to try dirty waters, dirty energy drinks, and even some special Halloween drinks to get ready for Spooky Season. This is one the most lit places we have ever been, with a staff that truly is having the times of their life serving thirsty patrons in Berkeley County.

Price 💲💲out of 5
There aren’t a ton of comparisons in our area for price for dirty sodas, but compared to the handful of options in the area, they have standard pricing. Most of the sodas are around $5 or $6, while the Alanis are around $7. The waters are also between $5 and $6, and they even have kid’s drinks for under $5. All in all, an affordable way to try something new.

Ambience 🧑🍳🧑🍳🧑🍳🧑🍳🧑🍳 out of 5
Filthy Fizz has the best ambience of any place we have ever visited. The staff is on another level when it comes to enjoying their job. They have done such an incredible job of setting this place up to be an enjoyable establishment to work at. Most of the staff are in high school or college, and they bring the energy all day every day. When you step into Filthy Fizz, the party is just beginning. They even have karaoke!

Drinks 🍷🍷🍷🍷 out of 5
Let’s get down to the drinks that we sampled:
Butterbeer – this Harry Potter inspired Halloween special had a base of cream soda, mixed with vanilla and butterscotch syrups and Vanilla cold foam on top. This transported me right back to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Yabba Dabba – this was a first for me, trying the “Cereal Criminal” Liquid Death flavor. In short, this is water that tastes like Fruity Pebbles. They added a splash of Coke and Vanilla cream. This one was interesting.

Deja Dew – this was pretty simple, a Mountain Dew base with strawberry syrup and coconut cream. I did not feel like these flavors mixed well, so I wasn’t a huge fan.

Campfire Fizz – this is the perfect Fall drink, with Rootbeer, Vanilla and marshmallow syrup, and Vanilla cold foam. This tasted like a Fall night around the bonfire.

Moody Judy – I’ve literally never had an energy drink in my life, so when I tried this Alani mixed with raspberry syrup and Vanilla cream, my brain was instantly wired. This is one that will wake you up for the next three days.
Shark Attack – lastly, we tried one of the kid’s drinks. This one is so fun, with Sprite, blueberry syrup, and cherry cold foam. It is even topped with a gummy shark. Kids go nuts for this drink.

Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5
The dirty soda craze has reached the Eastern Panhandle, and Filthy Fizz has quickly established themselves as one of the most fun spots you can go to. The drinks are awesome, but it is truly about the ambience here. Every day is a party, and you leave here feeling much better than how you entered.
