I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM, WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!
Kodiak Kones is definitely one of my new favorite places to visit. The options seemed endless, but also steadily changing, which keeps you coming back for more and more! The flavors and textures alone made it by far some of the best ice cream I have had! The best partβ¦. everyone can have a taste. Whether you are vegan, lactose, gluten-free, or even just trying to cut back on sugar with their sugar free options, they have a scoop waiting for you!

Not only do they have a bunch of flavors, but the prices won’t leave a dent in your wallet or heart! You’ll find they have affordable pricing, so go out and try every flavor at least once!

Ambience π§βπ³π§βπ³π§βπ³π§βπ³π§βπ³ out of 5
The shop inside is small and, I can imagine, a bit cramped when packed with ice cream lovers, BUT the outside has more than enough room for you, your plus one, the family, and your friends!
I love the little ice cream cone decor on the picnic tables and how they have tons of games for you and the little ones, but more importantly, one of the owners was a teacher in her past life and has incorporated that into the new business. By the front door you can find a “book box,” guarded by the cutest little dragon. Think of this like a little library where, while you’re enjoying your delectable sweets, you can dive into a good book. They must be returned though, for others to enjoy as well. I heard one time a mother reading to her child turned into a full story reading for all the kids present.
The fun doesn’t end outside. Inside, they also have an interactive “ice cream names” poster. There, you use your birth month and the first letter of your first name. Mine was Krinkle Kones and Sprinkle Ditty. What was yours?

Monkey Business
This sundae was BANANAS! It had banana pudding with vanilla wafers, banana ice cream, fresh bananas, peanuts, and peanut butter sauce, all topped with whipped cream!
Surprisingly, I was not overwhelmed with bananas! It was just the right amount and delicious!

Cherry Cheesecake
This cheesecake was made with goat milk. Super yummy, but holy moly, this bad boy was rich! I loved it, but if you aren’t too keen on goat milk, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Biscoff Cheesecake
Similar to the cherry cheesecake, it was made with goat milk. Delicious, rich, creamy, and so so good. Melts right in your mouth and is a big serving!

Banana Split Done Your Way
Talking about big servings, this sundae was huge but wonderful! After sampling as many flavors as I could, with the owner taking mental notes of all my facial expressions and feedback, he created my own banana split with my favorite flavors! That is something you don’t see often. For the owner to take the time to really pay attention and personalize a sundae just for me warmed my cold ice cream heart!

Cinnamon Roll
This sucker was large too! I know what you’re thinking: you’ve had a cinnamon roll a thousand times and they taste the same more or less, and would rather try the other fantastic treats they have to offer, but don’t you dare overlook it because they make their own icing in house from scratch!
You can never go wrong with a freshly baked cinnamon roll right out of the oven, warm, gooey, and large!

Boy ole Boy, was this place great! From the atmosphere, to the people, to the desserts. It was super cool to hear the owners’ origin stories too. Nothing you would ever expect from ice cream makers! I urge you to hear it for yourself, and enjoy the sweet sweet chill of ice cream in this summer heat!
