Alright, you sashimi haters, listen up! You want a tasty, FRESH poke bowl, no? Well, too bad, because Sweet Hut Cafe has them! I loveeeee poke bowls, they’re basically sushi in bowl form, and I am here for it! Very filling, and flavorful. Now, not every poke bowl has to be raw; depending on where you go, some restaurants offer cooked chicken in your bowl.

Pretty solid when it comes to prices. For the freshness and the quantity you get, I would have expected them to charge more, and if anyone who works at Sweet Hut Cafe reads this, please don’t start charging more, hahahaha!

Ambience π§βπ³π§βπ³π§βπ³ out of 5
I will say I was a little disappointed when it came to the overall vibe and customer service. Our waitress was polite, but as soon as we entered, we just got started down for a bit, no welcome in, or even a smile, then they asked if we were dining in or taking out. We opted for dining in, and they said to take a seat anywhere. Then absolute silence basically the whole time.
Not much on the decor side either, but I did like that they had a few cutesy things like free stickers, a few figurines, pops, keychains, nice paintings, and one of my favorites, Phineas and Ferb, on the TV. Plus, they were playing all my favorite songs.
Also, just a heads up: if you are planning to park in front of the restaurant, know you will need the skills of parallel parking. Or you can park close enough where you can just walk and get your steps in, you choose your battles!
Food π£π£π£π£ out of 5
Like I said, I loveeeee poke bowls! This time around was alright compared to my first time eating here, but the food was still spot on!

California Poke
This consisted of: Sushi Rice, Imitation Crab Meat, Mixed Greens, Cucumber, Edamame, Avocado, Seaweed Salad, Mango, Sesame Seeds, Spicy Mayo
My aunt ordered this, and it looked sooooo gooood! She enjoyed it; the only thing she wished was that there were both rice and greens as her base. Last time we both got the Ahi Tuna Poke, so we wanted to try something different!

Jade’s Poke
This consisted of: Sushi Rice, Tuna (Cubed Raw, Sashimi-Grade), Mixed Greens, Lettuce, Avocado, Cucumber, Mango, Seaweed, Edamame, JalapeΓ±o, Lime, Scallions, Sesame, Spicy Mayo
I ordered this and it was bomb! I loved the spiciness from the jalapeΓ±o, paired with the sweetness from the mango. I don’t even like mango, but in a poke bowl with all the other wonderfully delicious flavors, how can I resist! I liked that it had both greens and rice in the bowl, making it a great option if you want a mix of light and filling.

Drinks π§π§π§π§π§ out of 5

Passion Fruit Iced Tea
My aunt ordered this, and I may have liked it more than mine. It wasn’t overly sweet, nor did it have a harsh tea flavor! The crazy thing is, I don’t even like tea either! Just proves to show, sometimes you have to go outside your usuals to try something great! In food and life!

Midnight Bloom (Blueberry Iced Tea)
I pretty much like anything blueberry, so I was more inclined to try this despite it being a tea! It was as delicious as I thought, very refreshing! I liked the fresh blueberries in the drink too! My aunt liked mine too; we should have switched, hahahaha!

Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Now, this bad boy was SO SO SO GOOD! It was in a cute little cat cup, and looked just as good as it tasted! My cousin got this, and thank goodness it was too much for him, because I enjoyed every drop of it! It also wasn’t overbearingly sweet, which I appreciated. Definitely recommend getting this not just for your little one, but for yourself too!

I always like getting Sweet Hut! The food is bomb, the drinks are bomb, just an explosion of flavors and light, fresh options! If you haven’t gone already, you are truly missing out!
