In the heart of One Loudoun, there is a new pop-up stand serving gelato β both in the traditional sense and also as gelato pops.Β Fantasticks, a customized gelato bar, is currently set up in One Loudoun, adding an incredible place to get a sweet treat after grabbing a meal, watching a movie, or going shopping.

Price π²out of 5
While some may think a place serving gelato pops would come with bougie prices, Fantasticks is serving up delicious treats at a very reasonable price. The pops are $5, and you can pay a small upcharge to get it dipped and to add toppings. The cups of gelato come in two sizes β small is $6.25 and regular is $7.50. And that is all they serve. They keep it simple!

Being that Fantasticks is a pop-up, they donβt have any indoor seating, but everything is very clean, they have colorful decor, and they have some outdoor seating, which is perfect for eating ice cream anyway. One Loudoun in itself is such a vibe, so it is enjoyable to grab a gelato pop, sit down at the outdoor table, and do some people watching.

Both Robbie and I tried a gelato pop. Of course I had to go with the pistachio flavor. I got mine dipped in the caramel, and opted not to go with any toppings. I wanted the creaminess of the gelato to pair with the crunchiness of the dip, and it did not disappoint. Caramel and pistachio were a bit of a strange combination on the surface, but they actually paired really well together.

Robbie got the birthday cake gelato pop, and she dipped hers in chocolate. She did opt for some toppings, and she picked M&Ms, crushed oreo, and a white chocolate sauce drizzle. This tasted exactly like an ice cream cake and it was so good.

Experience ββββ out of 5
We saw Fantasticks a couple months ago when we were down at One Loudoun, but we were so stuffed from brunch that we didnβt try it that time. We knew we had to go this time, and made a point to not eat a huge brunch and spend some time walking around shopping before paying them a visit. So glad we were finally able to try out this spot!
