I am on a one man mission to try all of the restaurants that One Loudoun has to offer, so recently Ted’s Bulletin was next on our checklist.  We love a good brunch spot, so we had to try this place out on a beautiful summer Saturday morning.  We were able to eat outside since the weather was just perfect, and it set off our day at One Loudoun on the right foot.  Really happy that I am setting this personal goal of trying every restaurant in One Loudoun, because they just keep getting better and better.

While Ted’s Bulletin definitely feels like an upscale restaurant, the prices actually aren’t that steep.  This is quality-made food and the portions are very generous.  We were able to feed a family of three for about $60, which isn’t bad at all for what we got.  That included an appetizer, two adult entrees, and a kid’s breakfast.

Ted’s Bulletin is definitely a high end restaurant, with a massive central bar, indoor seating, and a handful of outdoor tables as well.  Luckily, the weather was perfect that day, so we were able to eat outside.  The staff was friendly and our food arrived in a timely manner.  Lastly, and this is something that I am really starting to focus on more, they had an interactive kid’s menu that kept my seven-year-old entertained.  As a family who always wants to include their little one, this is always a welcome site.

Let’s get down to why you are here.  We tried an appetizer and a handful of entrees:

Jalapeno popper wontons – what an interesting concept!  These were solid – not as spicy as I would have hoped for, but still, very good filling and crispy wrapper.

Ted’s Burger – of course I had to get a burger.  This thing was so juicy and seasoned well, and included cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, and a fried egg.  All the flavors married together so well.  The house fries were also crispy and salted perfectly.

Chicken & Biscuits – Robbie got this dish, and it was so massive she could barely eat half.  Two massive, homemade biscuits topped with fried chicken breasts and smothered in sausage gravy and hot honey.  Such a great, traditional southern dish.

Peanut Butter & Jelly – we love a customizable kid’s menu since our little one is so picky.  She was able to get a (crustless!!) PB&J, along with a side of mashed potatoes.  It always feels good when our picky eater approves of the food.

Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5

One Loudoun is pretty much getting into “no bad option” territory.  Every restaurant we have tried down there has been sensational, and I cannot wait until our next trip down there.  Where should we go next?
