The Foodies team was invited out to a real treat earlier this week, as we got to try TT Walls’ 1 Year Anniversary Menu. This menu was a five-course experience, starting with bread service, an appetizer, a soup, an entree, and a dessert. I am not usually a fan of a prefix menu, because I like to have the ability to eat whatever I decide I want, but I have been humbled now and realize that restaurants like TT Walls know exactly what we want. Every dish, every flavor, every bit was magical. This is only offered during select days in November, so make sure to check availability.

Price 💲💲💲💲 out of 5
This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality is unmatched for our area. Since this is a prefix menu, there is one set price that gets you five delicious courses. The price per person is $69, but when you factor in the amount and quality of food, this is a more than reasonable price. You also have the option of adding on a wine pairing for an additional cost.

Ambience 🧑🍳🧑🍳🧑🍳🧑🍳🧑🍳 out of 5
TT Walls has one of the best ambiences in Winchester. They lean heavy into the lore of the building, which used to be a haberdashery in its early days. The entire vibe is from a bygone era, with smooth jazz and ‘40s crooners playing throughout the restaurant, decor celebrating the history of the building, and low lights giving off the perfect intimate ambience.

Let’s get down to the main attraction – the TT Walls Anniversary Menu.
Fresh Buttermilk Biscuits – this dish is served as the welcome to the table, with the fluffiest, most decadent biscuits you have ever tried. They are served with whipped butter, sorghum molasses, and their homemade apple butter, which is cooked in a 200 year old copper kettle.

Fried Green Tomatoes – this dish would have been amazing on its own, but they added Chesapeake Lump Blue Crab Salad to take this dish to the next level. Just a perfect blend of the tart tomatoes and the creamy crab salad.

Charred Sweet Corn Bisque – served with smoked paprika oil, bacon, and cornbread crumbles, this hearty soup lights the soul on fire. Just the perfect dish for this chilly November.

Caramelized Fennel and Onion Stuffed Center Cut Pork Chop – the name is a mouthful, but the dish is dozens of mouthfuls. This massive pork chop is cooked to perfection. Hands down, it is the best pork chop I have ever tasted. If you are a fan of pork chops, you have to try this dish. It is served with creamy pimento cheese grits, and a mixture of maple bacon glazed roasted squash and Brussels Sprouts.

Homemade Apple Crisp – the finale of the night is a homemade apple crisp, served with vanilla bean ice cream. Just the perfect fall flavor to finish off this incredible feast.
