We are deep into the holiday season here at Eastern Panhandle Foodies, and there is no place I would rather be than at Orr’s Farm Market checking out the Christmas decor, seasonal items, Christmas trees, and of course getting some of their decadent hot chocolates. We had a festive time last week as we got into the holiday spirit at one of the best farms in the Eastern Panhandle.

Price 💲💲 out of 5
The price for the hot chocolates are standard across the board, with the traditional hot chocolate going for $5.50 a cup, while the multiple speciality hot chocolates cost $8.50 a cup. Throughout the market, there are a ton of items you can purchase, such as produce, snacks, homemade desserts, and household items.

Orr’s has such a cozy ambience. It just feels right to walk into Orr’s around the holiday seasons. From pumpkins in October to homemade ingredients for Thanksgiving, and of course all the holiday decor and food items for Christmas, this is a destination for those who love this time of year. You can warm up with a decadent hot chocolate while you peruse the Christmas trees and the market.

Let’s get down to the the various hot chocolates we tried:
Peppermint Bliss – the classic hot chocolate flavor, this one was topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, peppermint pieces, and an entire candy cane. This one will be a hit with the kids!

S’morr’s – for the marshmallow lovers out there, this one is for you. An obscene amount of marshmallows accompanies the whipped cream, graham cracker, chocolate syrup, and pieces of chocolate bar. Definitely an indulgent experience.

Peanut Butter Buster – my favorite drink of the day, this hot chocolate provided the perfect food match – peanut butter and chocolate. Not only do they add peanut butter sauce and Reese’s Pieces to the mound of whipped cream, but an entire Reese Cup finishes off this masterpiece.

Frostbite Blue Christmas – this was an interesting one, as it is made with white chocolate instead of the traditional milk chocolate. They also add whipped cream, sprinkles, a blue candy cane, and a marshmallow snowman.

Overall, Orr’s Farm Market is such a cozy vibe. It is a perfect place to go throughout the year, but there is something extra special about going to a market like this around the holiday season. I am actually not a huge fan of hot chocolate, but these were so decadent, and the peanut butter one was probably the best hot chocolate drink I have ever had. Highly recommend you take an afternoon and go out to Orr’s this month to try out these hot chocolates!
