One of the most luxurious dining experiences you can find in the Winchester area is Regions 117, located within the beautiful Lake Frederick housing development.  It has got a really nice country club vibe, and just feels like such a fun place to mingle with friends and neighbors.  The entire development is stunning, and I am looking forward to many more trips out to this amazing spot.

Price 💲💲💲out of 5

The pricing at Regions 117 is a little higher than most of the restaurants we visit, but the quality is so high that it more than makes up for it.  Each dish is a true value, and they source locally to provide their patrons with the best possible ingredients.  Most dishes are around $20, with some of the higher end dishes in the $30-$40 range.

Ambience 🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳 out of 5

I absolutely love the ambience at Regions 117.  It is so cozy and has one of the best views of any restaurant in our area.  It overlooks Lake Frederick.  There is a reason this is a popular wedding venue as well!  In addition to the views, I love the open kitchen with the woodfire oven.  You can watch their pizza being baked.  They also have a full service bar, so you can watch a game at the bar, have cozy dinner with family, or enjoy a drink out on the patio overlooking the lake.

Drinks 🍷🍷🍷🍷 out of 5

We got to try a handful of their cocktails (and mocktails!):

No Proof Paradise – this mocktail simulated a Mai Thai with tropical flavors and coconut.  So refreshing!

No-Garita – this non-alcoholic margarita included spiritless jalisco, which provides the flavor without the alcohol.

117 Tiramisu Espresso Martini – the martini was extremely smooth and had a great coffee flavor.

Inglenook Barrel Aged Old Fashioned – served the correct way, with clarified ice, aged bourbon, and orange bitters.

We were also lucky enough to sample a ton of their menu items:

Crispy Kung Pao Shrimp – these jumbo fried shrimp drenched in sriracha honey and plum sauce were an exquisite start to the meal.

Quesabirria – some of the most tender, cheesy, and fragrant birria I have ever had.  This is a must order for the table.

Classic Crispy Wings – these wings were delicious, and I am not usually someone who goes for breaded wings.

Charred Brussels Sprouts – just a massive plate of charred Brussels sprouts, topped with candied bacon and the sweetest balsamic reduction.

Ahi Tuna Poke – again, such quality ingredients.  The ahi is sushi grade and delectable, and all the crunchy veggies and sweet Thai chili sauce were the perfect complement.

Short Rib Grilled Cheese – a decadent dish.  The short rib is so tender and flavorful, the cheese is gooey, and the sourdough is pillowly.

Margherita Wood-Fired Pizza – the char on the bottom of this pizza was perfect.  The red sauce had the perfect mix of tang and sweetness, and the mozzarella was so fresh.

Penne Primavera – this was my least favorite dish of the night.  The pasta was tender and the flavors were solid, I’m just not a huge fan of primavera.

Lemon Rosemary Brick Chicken – this chicken was cooked to perfection.  So tender and fell right off the bone.  However, rosemary is my least favorite herb.

Catfish Etouffee – this is in contention for best dish I have ever had.  I love catfish, and I love etouffee.  I’ve never had them together until here at Regions 117.

Croissant Bread Pudding a la Mode – the dessert game is top notch as well.  This bread pudding was divine.

Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie Dough Sundae – wow, so rich and indulgent.  I could have crushed this whole skillet if I hadn’t already eaten so much!

Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5

Looking back, I can truly say this was one of the best experiences I have had in nearly two years of being a part of this team.  I was blown away with everything – the ambience, the food, the drinks, and how awesome all the staff were.  I highly, highly recommend checking out Regions 117!
