Interchange Tiki Bar recently went under new management, so you know the Foodies team had to come out and see the new decor, drinks, and food options.  As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with an explosion of Christmas – they are really going all out for the holiday season.  The drink menu is extensive, and the food definitely has an island vibe with a lot of Asian and Pacific flavors.  This was such a fun trip out!

Price 💲💲 out of 5

The Tiki Bar is definitely affordable, as most of their drinks come in between $6 and $10.  There is such a wide variety to choose from that it would take a lot of trips to try everything.  The food is also very reasonable, with prices ranging from $5 or $6 for appetizers, and in the $15 range for entrees.  With bowls, nachos, hot dogs, and Asian appetizers like dumplings and musubi, there are plenty of comfort foods to go around.

Ambience 🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳 out of 5

This might be the most festive spot that we have been to during the holiday season.  They have every square inch of this place decorated with island decor and, of course, plenty of Christmas decorations.  Santa was even there when we stopped in!  After telling Mr. Claus what we wanted for Christmas, we got down to sampling all the drinks and food Interchange has to offer.

Drinks 🍷🍷🍷🍷 out of 5

We tried a bunch of different cocktails, most of which are their winter specials:

Raspberry Maple Bourbon – I honestly wasn’t a huge fan of this, but only because I didn’t like the tartness of the raspberry mixed with the searing punch of the bourbon.

Yuletide Apple Pie – this one tasted like Christmas, with strong hints of cinnamon and apple spice.

Sandy Claws Nogtini – another one I wasn’t a huge fan of, but that is only because I do not drink eggnog.

Cotton Headed Ninny Muggin – this one was very fruity and sweet.  The cotton candy accoutrement was a nice touch.

Crimson Christmas Fizz – I loved this one, I think the tartness of the lemon and ginger ale went perfectly with the vodka.

The food was just as interesting and diverse:

Bang Bang Rice – one of the best appetizers out there, this is such a simple dish but it is packed with flavor.  The bang bang sauce pairs so well with the fluffy white rice.

Dumplings – perfectly golden, fried pockets of deliciousness.  They are killing the dumpling game!

Maryland Crab Nachos – these nachos were absolutely LOADED with delicate crab meat, and plenty of Old Bay seasoning.  A seafood lover’s dream!

Poke Island Bowl – just the freshest sushi grade tuna.  I adore Poke bowls and this one was one of the best I have ever had.

Bulgogi Beef Island Bowl – another showstopper, this bowl is actually spicy – with plenty of jalapenos and kimchi bringing the heat.

Korean BBQ Tacos – these tacos are sensational, as they capture the flavor of Korean BBQ perfectly.  The only thing I would recommend is giving two tortillas for each taco, as one is extremely flimsy.

Buffalo Bird Dog – what a crazy hotdog, with buffalo chicken, cheese, and ranch, served with fried wonton chips.

Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5

Interchange Tiki Bar is such a vibe.  The new ownership is absolutely killing it, keeping the parts of what made the bar great, with adding a ton of new drink and food items, as well as creating a ton of charm with their ambience.  They have even more plans to evolve, as I have heard there may be some additions in the works.  I would highly recommend you take some time to come out to Interchange Tiki Bar, grab a cocktail and some delicious food, and enjoy a great time.
