Stuckey’s: Unbelievable Flavors and Ginormous Portions!

This was my first time at Stuckey’s, but I’ve heard wonderful things about this spot. I was in the neighborhood, so I figured why not, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed!

The prices are not terrible, and the portions are massive! One meal alone can feed two people, or if you’re planning on having leftovers for the next day, they’ve got you covered!

Personally, I feel like the interior could use a bit more decor, hahahaha. Maybe some greenery to brighten it up, or some kind of color? If the goal was gritty biker bar vibes, then mission accomplished. I do like the open kitchen; it gives more peace of mind when it comes to the food!

The staff were lovely, had a great conversation with the waitress, she was on top of things, as well as very kind!

HEADS UP: IT IS LIKE ANTARCTICA INSIDE!!! If you are someone like me who gets cold very easily, then be advised to bring a cover-up! I was wearing a turtleneck under my shirt and was still shivering!

Veggie Sub A La Mode

LOOK HOW BIG THIS SUB WAS!!! I felt like I was eating something from Scooby Doo! This lasted me two days, I couldn’t imagine if I got sides too!

I don’t know about you, but there is something special about walking into a restaurant and asking the chef to “hook you up,” and not having to decide on what to get! Veggie lover? No worries, all the flavor, none of the slaughter!

Mango Lemonade

This was good, I am a big fan of freshly squeezed juice! I am not a fan, however, of mango or lemonade…. don’t ask what possessed me to get this, hahahahaha, but if you are, you’ll probably like it!

Overall, a pretty good experience! Lots of things to try, from soul food to Caribbean food to seafood, plus American classics like smash burgers, wings, etc. A little something for everyone!
