The next stop on our tour throughout Winchester’s Italian offerings brought us to Pizza’s Delicious.  We like to throw terms like “hidden gem” and “hole in the wall” around nonchalantly, but this place is truly both.  As a Winchester resident for six years, I didn’t even know this place existed.  Now, I think it is safe to say I have a new favorite place to order pizza and other traditional Italian staples.  And to top it off?  They have a handful of traditional Mexican classics like street tacos, quesadillas, pupusas, and fajitas.

Pizza’s Delicious is one of the best value restaurants in the area, but that doesn’t mean that they sacrifice quality for affordableness.  They have a large menu with all your favorite staples (including the Mexican food), and nothing is overpriced.  Even their massive 16’ pizzas only run you about $20.  Next pizza night, look at Pizza’s Delicious!

Since this place is truly a hole in the wall, the restaurant itself doesn’t have a ton of room to maneuver around.  It definitely feels like this is more of a takeout spot.  That doesn’t mean there isn’t enough room for about 30 or so patrons, but there is definitely limited seating.  The family that owns Pizza’s Delicious is so friendly and they do amazing work.  Highly recommend supporting this family-owned business.

Let’s get to the dishes we were able to sample:

Steak and Cheese with Fries – the sub came loaded with chopped steak, melty cheese, mayo, and plenty of fresh tomatoes and veggies.  I love a full loaded cheesesteak, and this one was very solid.  The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Cheese Pizza – one of the best cheese pizzas I have ever tried.  It is so simple, but so delicious.  Order this pizza.

Supreme Pizza – this pizza was topped with cheese, pepperoni, green pepper, onion, and olives.  All of the ingredients mixed together perfectly.  Nothing was undercooked or overcooked, and the crisp on that crust was perfect.

Chicken Parm – their chicken parm is outrageously massive.  Two massive chicken cutlets over a heap of spaghetti, smothered in their delicious red sauce and a massive bed of cheese.  Served with two garlic toasts just in case you have unlimited stomach capacity.

BBQ Wings – their wings were massive and meaty.  While BBQ is never my first choice of sauce, it was tangy and fresh.  An order of wings alone can fill you up with how big they are.

Italian Hoagie with Onion Rings – I am a big fan of Italian hoagies, and this one did not disappoint.  Cured meats, provolone cheese, and a ton of fresh veggies.  The onion rings were so crispy and fried to perfection.

Street Tacos – it is just insane that you can get authentic street tacos at a pizza shop, but here we are.  The carne asada was so tender, and I love extra onion and cilantro.  So good.

Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5

I was so impressed with Pizza’s Delicious.  Stumbling upon restaurants like this is why we do this Foodies thing.  It just goes to show that there are so many amazing restaurants out there, all they need is some visibility.  So happy to have gotten to experience this spot for the first time, and now I have a new place to bring the family to the next time we are craving Italian food (or Mexican)!
