As a person who grew up in Charles Town, Andy’s Pizza was always a staple for work events and pizza takeout nights. I was so excited that Andy invited us out to try his newest venture, Inferno Brewery, in the heart of Ranson, which is quickly becoming a center of commerce in Jefferson County. Located off of Route 9, Inferno Brewery is a new go-to spot to watch games, grab a brew, and get that same delicious pizza Andy’s is known for.

Price 💲💲💲 out of 5
The prices at Inferno Brewery are a bit higher than a traditional pizza spot, but that reflects the higher quality ingredients and the elevated ambience of the brewery. This isn’t a pizza shop with a few tables. They have a full sized bar, plenty of indoor (and outdoor!) seating, and a massive kitchen. You can easily get a good meal here for under $20, or feed the entire family with one of their large pizzas for about $25.

Inferno Brewery has a top flight ambience. This is such a great spot to visit on football Sunday, as they have plenty of flat screen tvs to keep you entertained. Sitting at the bar is such a vibe, as it is uniquely constructed so there isn’t a bad seat in the house. If you want more of a cozier family feel, there is plenty of dining room seating as well. Lastly, they even have an outdoor patio area that will be ready when the weather turns warm this spring.

Let’s get down to the food!
New York Style Pizza – we went with the traditional NY slice of cheese pizza, and sometimes simple is better. Nothing beats a traditional NY slice, and Inferno Brewery still has that classic Andy’s Pizza flavor and consistency.

All American Burger – this massive 8 ounce patty is served on an artisan roll with cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The burger itself could have been seasoned a bit more, but the cheese was melty and the bun is high quality.

Spicy Breaded Wings – we got an order of the spicy breaded buffalo wings, and these wings were saucy and massive. I typically don’t go for breaded wings because I think they can get soggy, but these were still crispy and juicy.

Oreo Mousse Cake – Andy rotates flavored desserts every so often, and on this trip we got to try their decadent Oreo Mousse Cake. I love the flavor of cookies and cream, so this dessert was right up my alley. Very soft and creamy, with just the right amount of richness.

Inferno Brewery is definitely going to be on my short list of places to go watch some sporting events when I’m in Charles Town. I love the vibe, absolutely adore the bar space they have, and would love to sit down with a nice slice of pizza and some more wings. I’ll definitely be by soon to get in my fix of sports and good food!
