Calling all my veggie lovers, this restaurant is for you… FINALLY!
If you’re a veggie-loving, non-meat-eating gal or guy who is tired of ordering just a salad, substituting meat out of meals, always having to pick the restaurant because you’re the “difficult one,” or sometimes not even being able to join the fun at all, do I have your saving grace! Kelley’s Farm Kitchen (KFK) in Harpers Ferry is an all-vegan restaurant that will no doubt turn even the most dedicated meat eater into a vegetarian.

If you’re worried about vegan substitutes emptying your wallet, don’t be. Kelley’s meals are not only delicious but affordable! Their menu offers numerous options ranging from appetizers to entrées to desserts, plus spur-of-the-moment specials, and yes, even breakfast!
There is so much to choose from, but let me tell you this: the plates are not only massive, they’re incredibly filling too. With your choice of an entrée and two sides: kettle chips and a hot side, it’s definitely worth the price.

I won’t lie, the first time I went to Kelley’s, I thought I had the wrong place. From the outside it looks like someone’s grandma’s cute little home. But the welcoming atmosphere is felt the moment you walk in.
The staff greets you with warm smiles, kindness, and patience, which is appreciated when you suddenly realize you can actually order anything on the menu. With so many options, I definitely needed a minute or two to decide!
The dining space inside is small, so if the weather permits, I highly recommend enjoying their outdoor seating area. Every time I visited, the chef even came out personally to check on how we were enjoying the food.

Now for the reason you’re really reading this…
THE FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL!!!
Most vegetarian options I’ve had over the past six years have had some interesting flavors, to say the least. But I promise you, that was not the case here.

Loaded Nachos
These massive nachos were incredible! They included pinto beans, nacho cheese, tomato, bell peppers, jalapeños, green onions, sliced olives, sour cream, and avocado sauce.
I think my aunt’s words say it all:
“These are so good, I don’t even miss the meat at all.”

Firecracker Chick’n
This sandwich included a seitan chicken patty (all patties are made with seitan), greens, melted pepper-jack cheese, onions, pickles, kimchi, and sriracha sauce. I had never had a “chicken sandwich” option before, and I’m happy to say I finally have!

10″ Loaded Seitan Philly
This sub featured an authentic 10″ Amoroso roll with seasoned grilled onions, peppers, and seitan. It was topped with tomato, diced onion, melted cheese, and mayo.
My aunt ordered this one, and I’m glad she did because this giant sub was big enough for two people! From the warmth of the bread to the gooey “cheese” holding all the vegetables together, it was spot-on to a traditional Philly.

Fully Loaded Baja Bowl
This bowl truly lives up to its name, fully loaded! It consisted of chopped romaine, cilantro rice, seasoned pinto beans, nacho cheese, ground TVP chili, pico, cabbage, onion, carrot, fresh avocado, sour cream, and Baja sauce.
It was absolutely divine and incredibly large! I was feeling so full, but the flavor was so addictive I couldn’t put down my spoon. The best part was, I actually got this delivered to my house…. that’s right! If you don’t feel like leaving the comfort of your home, you can order via delivery too!
Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5
10 out of 10 without a doubt.
As a veggie lover myself, a new member of the Foodies team, someone who just moved to the Eastern Panhandle, and someone with lots of family members who have dietary restrictions, this place was an absolute must-try. Thank goodness I did!
Fair warning: once you try it, you’ll want to come back every day just to work your way through the entire menu.
