Good Nature Market & Vegetarian Cafe: More than one veggie lover’s spot, say less!

You read right, another veggie spot for my fellow plant eaters!

Everyone at my job knows I like to consider myself a veggie connoisseur, so it was a no-brainer that I had to try Good Nature Market & Vegetarian Cafe. This was not only a vegetarian friendly spot, but also accommodated vegans, and had fresh ingredients in their dishes as well as fresh produce available for purchase!

Price πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’² out of 5

Like most vegan/vegetarian friendly eateries, you can expect to be paying a bit more. Good Nature was no exception, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the wonderful flavors of each dish, made with FRESH ingredients, which play a role in the price.

Ambience πŸ§‘β€πŸ³πŸ§‘β€πŸ³πŸ§‘β€πŸ³ out of 5

When my aunt and I arrived, it was not what I expected. With an exterior giving “cozy home” vibes and the inside being a large market to select from, Good Nature is not your typical dining cafe. The interior felt endless, from the eating hall as soon as you walk in, to the grocery market in the back. At every turn there was a new selection to choose from. Cold items, fresh jams and jellies, homemade delicacies, drinks, natural remedies, home decor, fresh fruits and veggies. You name it, I am sure they sold it.

They had an outside eating area with a green pergola entrance, which felt like you were entering a fairy garden. It is still chilly outside (for me at least) and the flowers still haven’t bloomed, but I can imagine the outdoor area being an absolute beauty during the summer. I will definitely have to go back to find out! Another hidden secret: they also have a parking lot if you are like me and cannot parallel park to save your life.

Fair warning: you know I only speak truthfully on these blogs. The wait for our food and drinks was very long. I understand restaurants need time to cook and accommodate other customers, but it seemed like the minutes were flying by. This did not take away from their wonderful hospitality. There were at least three different servers checking in with us to ensure everything was to our liking, and shoutout to our waitress for being so patient with me while I was trying to decide, and for giving me a great recommendation!

Drinks πŸ₯€πŸ₯€πŸ₯€πŸ₯€ out of 5

There were tons of drink options, from coffee to tea to specialty smoothies. And if you aren’t feeling any of those, feel free to roam through their market and buy what’s speaking to your taste buds.

Nutty Goin’ Bananas

I tried a signature specialty smoothie that alone could have been a meal replacement. I was definitely going nutty for it because the flavor was insanely good! I wish I had taken a picture before I mixed it, because the presentation was beautiful. It had a chocolate drizzle that just looked too good not to try. I added a drizzle on top of the picture I took. Use your imagination to envision what it would have looked like, and then you’ll understand why I couldn’t hold back.

Food πŸ₯¬πŸ₯¬πŸ₯¬ out of 5

I am happy to say the food did not disappoint!

Loaded Tater Tots

This was one of their small plate options, topped with cashew queso or vegan sprinkled cheese.

Everyone loves them some taters, and these were real good too. I opted for their homemade spicy ketchup, and oh my lanta, I am so glad I did. I ate just about everything with the ketchup! So flavorful, and if you are worried about heat, there was little to no kick, at least to me.

Sweet Potato Fries

LET ME PUT YOU ON! I love sweet potato fries, and typically get them every chance I can if the restaurant offers them, upcharge or not, BUT THESE….OH BOY THESE WERE HEAVEN! By far the best sweet potato fries I have ever had! In my experience, most of the time the sweet potato fries are either burnt, shriveled, or both, but not these bad boys. They were fantastic, so fluffy and full! I almost bought some to-go even though I was stuffed. I will be dreaming about their deliciousness! This was another small plate item.

Sesame Noodle Bowl

This dish was served with pita & sesame ginger dressing, which consisted of sunbutter and almond butter, with mushrooms, greens, peppers, onions, tomatoes, and spices. Gluten free options are available as well!

My aunt got this dish and said she enjoyed it very much. Everything was fresh and filling!

Blue Jane

This grilled cheese consists of cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and blueberry preserves on sourdough. Vegan cheese is available, as well as a gluten free option.

Now I know what you’re thinking: blueberry preserves on a grilled cheese?….Absolutely! The savoriness of the caramelized onions with the sweetness of the jam had me doing my happy dance. And I typically am not a grilled cheese person, but the waitress said her coworker loved the sandwich, and if I were looking to be adventurous, she recommended trying it, and good thing I did! Our waitress’s favorite was the Pesto Jane if you are looking for another recommendation! I also was able to choose between dairy cheese and vegan cheese, so based on your preference, it is an option!

Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5

Yet another great veggie dining experience for those who need one!

This is the perfect lunch spot for everyone, not just vegetarians/vegans. With many options to choose from and a kids’ menu, you can take the whole family to enjoy a fulfilling, healthy, delicious meal that is plant based!
